I Am Syria Campaign: A Worldwide campaign to let the people of Syria know they are not forgotten. Iamsyria.org is an officially registered 501c3 not-for-profit, non-partisan, non-denominational effort assisted by Impunity Watch and the Summer Institute for Human Rights and Genocide Studies in Buffalo.


SANAD: The Syrian-American Network for Aid and Development (SANAD) is an independent organization launched in 2011 in Washington, D.C. dedicated to supporting the Syrian refugees, families and children, as they escape the conflict. The word SANAD ( ْسَنَد ) comes from the Arabic language, meaning support.

Tharwa Institute for Democratic Leadership: an initiative launched by the Tharwa Foundation back in 2007 to help train young democracy activists from around the Broader Middle East and North Africa region. The Tharwa Institute hopes to facilitate the emergence of new leaders in the region capable of managing the transition to democracy. The Syria In Transition Program took part under the Tharwa Institute banner.
